Scenes from Sufra by Sidon
I wanted to share some of the photos from the Living Wreath Workshop at Sufra by Sidon on March 25. This was my largest group so far, with 22 guests. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated.

The hospitality from the Sufra team was outstanding. Fresh fruit, crudité with hummus, and fatayer (savory pies with fillings like spinach and cheese) were beautifully displayed for guests to self-serve and enjoy while creating their air plant wreath arrangements. Not to mention the surprise samples of fresh spiced carrot juice that were passed around. Jazzy, bossa nova–style music set the atmosphere, and the space itself was incredibly welcoming and pleasant.

One long table with beautiful linens created the perfect base for the workshop kits, along with family-style moss and decorative materials. Conversation and creativity flowed all the way until 8 pm. We used a fun selection of colorful air plants like ionantha orange, ionantha lilac, and raspberry rubra, along with mini butterflies and grapevine hearts. The results were fun, colorful, and completely spring-worthy.

I’m so grateful to have been able to work with Sufra by Sidon on this workshop experience, and I look forward to more in the future.

If you would like to sign up for a living wreath workshop, be sure to check out the events and workshop page on the website for upcoming dates. Interested in purchasing a ready-made wreath? I will be offering one-of-a-kind pieces at pop-up shops this summer, along with other unique air plant arrangements, so don’t miss it.
Stay botanically inspired,
